Overview
The Environmental Risk and Remediation (R&R) team at Timmons Group has the experience and professional certifications needed to complete due diligence assessments for property acquisition and/or development to fulfill the requirements of “All Appropriate Inquiry” per 40 CFR Part 312.
Our resume includes projects involving Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II ESAs on commercial, residential, and industrial properties, undeveloped greenfield properties, and qualified brownfield properties of less than one acre to several thousand acres in urban, suburban, and rural settings nationwide.
Our range of capabilities likewise extends within ASTM and AAI guidelines, in addition to state and federal regulations, to include the completion of site characterization investigations and development of Phase III remediation strategies that address compromised environmental conditions.
Accordingly, Timmons Group R&R professionals have a wealth of experience in collecting soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor sampling (i.e., sub-slab, shallow and deep soil gas) for site characterization and compliance monitoring.
Timmons Group’s R&R staff are also accomplished in assessing local, state, and federally funded projects to determine the appropriate level of reporting to achieve state SEPA or federal NEPA compliance, from initial scoping and study to federal agency approval and certification.
Our staff has contributed to broad levels of NEPA review from locally exempt activities to state-wide Programmatic Environmental Impact Reports, and federal-agency Environmental Assessments per 40 CFR 1500-1508.
