Robert Gonzalez

Robert is the head of our Dallas office and leader of our renewables practice in both Dallas and Richmond. Robert started his career at Timmons Group in August 2017. His engineering background was originally Land Development and Construction before shifting to Renewable Energy. He, like so many other folks, took on new challenges during the 2008/2009 downturn. Robert has grown the Dallas office from 2 to 15 and also oversees the 14 folks in our Richmond Renewable Energy group.

Robert has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University where he walked-on to the football team his freshman year. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in AZ, DC, ID, OR, SD, TX, UT and WA. Robert received his Project Management Professional (PMP) registration from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in March of 2010. Robert, his wife Jessica, and his youngest son and daughter live in Frisco, Texas. Robert’s oldest sons are full-time missionaries in California and Washington.

  • Something about you many people don’t know? My great grandfather genetically engineered the pinto bean. The Army approached him while he was a professor at New Mexico State University looking for a bean that was cheap and could be stored easily.
