Timmons Group is proud to support the Wasena Skate Park by providing Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control Design services. We have worked closely with the City and skate park designer to ensure permitting timelines and budgetary goals are achieved, while also considering the long-term maintenance needs of the City’s new facility. We are proud to be a part of this project and can’t wait to see this vision come to life.
The 24,000 SF park is designed to serve skaters of all skill levels and will feature a variety of elements—including rails, bowl ramps, boxes, and stairs—making it a premier destination for the entire Roanoke Valley. In addition to traditional skateboarding, the facility will also support events and all-wheel programming for BMX riders, rollerbladers, and more. Once complete, the free, public park will provide an inclusive and dynamic community space when it opens in late 2025.
