Overview
Timmons Group provided site selection and site analysis for the world’s first Fusion Power Plant to be located in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Timmons Group worked in conjunction with McGuireWoods Consulting to identify and vet potential sites for Commonwealth Fusion System to locate the new ARC facility, which will generate 400 megawatts of electricity. Services included site identification, due diligence, evaluation of utility infrastructure (power, water & sewer) and environmental permitting strategies.
