Overview
The Health Sciences Building consists of a 50,200 sf facility that is located in the Brightwater Science and Technology Park in Lillington, NC, adjacent to Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. Developed for use by Central Carolina Community College as part of its Health Sciences education program, this facility will house programs such as nurse aide, phlebotomy, EKG, pharmacy tech, medical assisting, physical therapy assisting and associate degree nursing.
Timmons Group performed all site planning, surveying, civil engineering, permitting, construction administration, and related site development consulting services.
This project is being constructed as a true public-private partnership, as the facility is being developed and financed privately with a long-term lease to Harnett County for use by the Community College.
