Whether we’re restoring coastal marshes, designing resilient infrastructure, or improving stormwater systems with smart technology, our focus is on delivering results that go beyond the project site. We help our clients navigate regulatory challenges, streamline permitting, and implement risk-optimized solutions that keep projects moving forward.
In the Southeast, responsible growth means aligning progress with the unique environmental conditions of the region—from the Cape Fear and Neuse Rivers to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Carolina coast. Our client-first approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of local regulations, enabling faster approvals and smarter decisions that protect both natural resources and long-term project goals.
Beginning in 2000, Timmons Group has been an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council. We proudly employ certified Envision Sustainability Professionals and are a member of Sustainable Infrastructure’s Envision program, a flexible system of objectives that allows our clients to make sustainable-forward approaches to their planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects.
Timmons Group actively searches for opportunities to work with and for our communities, and the more sustainable, the better. Our team aligns with the mission and values of our firm, and their investment in sustainable affordable housing, thoughtful and safe approaches to schools, and sustainable design for residential development plays a large part in our belief that we have enlisted the most knowledgeable and considerate individuals in their fields to help bring our clients’ projects to life.
