Our Richmond Survey team recently had the opportunity to host @DominionEnergy’s Survey Transmission team for a networking and learning event 👷💡
The teams came together in our new Richmond office to connect in person, discuss the resources and technologies we use to support Dominion’s projects, and continue building on a partnership that has been growing since 2023.
Thank you to the @DominionEnergy team for taking the time to join us! We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate in person.

Johnston County Public Schools has officially begun construction on the new Clayton High School in Clayton, North Carolina 🏗️ 🏫
This $134M investment involves rebuilding the school on its existing site, starting with a new 278,000-square-foot facility. Once complete, the campus will feature a three-story academic wing and a two-story arts and athletics wing, creating a modern, innovative learning environment that supports student growth and success.
Timmons Group is proud to partner with @Barnhill.Built, @LS3P, and @JCPS_NC as part of the design-build team, bringing this vision to life.
"The design-build delivery method for K-12 projects continues to gain momentum," said Project Manager and Principal Will Altman. "By integrating the contractor into the process from day one, we`re able to estimate final costs more quickly and accelerate decision-making for more efficient outcomes."
Will is sharing insights on this evolving approach at the A4LE 2026 North Carolina Chapter Conference in Wrightsville Beach this May.

Arbor Day is a time to recognize the value trees bring to our communities, from environmental health and resilience to economic viability and quality of life 🌳🌲
At its core, Arbor Day reinforces the importance of thoughtful planning and long-term stewardship of tree resources, especially as landscapes continue to evolve through development.
At Timmons Group, Arbor Day is also an opportunity to highlight the critical role professional arborist services play in balancing responsible development with tree conservation.

Our Charlotte team enjoyed a little fresh air at their annual Adopt-a-Stream cleanup event!
Together, they collected over 20 bags of trash from Briar Creek and Little Sugar Creek, helping support a thriving stream ecosystem full of fish, turtles, and ducks 🦆
Huge thank you to our volunteers for keeping Charlotte beautiful!

Well-planned communities contain parks of different sizes and purposes, from playgrounds and active spaces to quiet walking trails and sprawling nature preserves 🚶🌳
While each of these spaces may feel distinct at first glance, they are often part of a broader park system intentionally designed to serve communities in different ways.
Scalable park design builds on this idea, approaching parks not as standalone amenities but as connected pieces of a larger network.
So, what is scalable park design and why does it matter? Check the link in our bio to learn more from Scott Wiley, Director of Landscape Architecture 🔗
