Overview

Created in response to community demand for more family-oriented recreation amenities, the Beulah Splash Pad & Playground transforms the Beulah Recreation Center campus into a vibrant destination for play, gathering, and outdoor activity. Chesterfield County selected Timmons Group to lead the design of the County’s first splash pad, creating an engaging and inclusive experience for residents of all ages.

Working closely with County staff, Timmons Group provided landscape architecture and site design services for a dynamic play environment that combines water play, traditional playground experiences, and welcoming public spaces. The project expands recreational opportunities for the surrounding community, enhances the recently renovated recreation center campus, and creates a memorable destination that serves residents year-round.

More than a playground, the project reflects Chesterfield County’s commitment to investing in high-quality parks and recreation facilities that promote community connection, healthy lifestyles, and family fun.
