As Chief Marketing Officer, Tim Asimos leads Timmons Group’s marketing, communications, business development, and pursuits teams. He serves as the strategic driver of the firm’s brand and growth initiatives—overseeing efforts that enhance market presence, elevate client experience, and align marketing strategy with business goals across all markets.
With 20 years of AEC industry experience, Tim blends strategic insight with creative execution. He brings expertise in brand strategy, demand generation, digital marketing, and client experience—skills that strengthen the firm’s visibility and impact in a competitive marketplace.
Before rejoining the firm, Tim spent more than a decade as a consultant and advisor to AEC firms nationwide, helping leadership teams refine growth strategies, differentiate their brands, and build stronger client relationships. His background spanning in-house, agency, and advisory roles gives him a well-rounded perspective on how marketing can drive meaningful business outcomes.
Tim is an active voice in the AEC community. He’s a frequent keynote and conference speaker, contributes to industry publications and podcasts, and co-authored the SMPS Foundation study Client Experience in the AEC Industry: Benchmarks, Insights, and Trends. He is also a past president of the American Marketing Association’s Richmond chapter. He earned both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Liberty University.
Outside the office, Tim enjoys life with his wife, Heather, and their two teenage sons, Mason and Grady.
