Overview
Bridges of Cabarrus is a multi-family housing development in Kannapolis, NC. Timmons Group was initially contracted to perform a flood study and survey for the site and ultimately completed all environmental services for the project.
When a road widening was required by the City of Kannapolis, our civil, transportation, and environmental teams collaborated to identify an innovative solution. By using a bottomless culvert for a stream crossing, the team eliminated the need for a 404/401 permit application and reduced the review and approval timeline from months to just weeks.
When a violation occurred due to clearing and grubbing outside of approved areas, Timmons Group’s expertise in North Carolina’s state and federal regulatory processes allowed us to guide the client through resolution with minimal cost and no project delays.
