Overview
The Villages at Terrace Greene Timmons Group, working for the property owner and developer Merit Greene, has provided survey and engineering services associated with the Villages at Terrace Greene development of a mixed-use community along Route 29 in southern Greene County, Virginia. The overall development consists of a 60-acre parcel located just north of the existing Terrace Greene Apartment Homes. The new development will be broken into phases, with Phase 1 encompassing approximately 35-acres and consisting of 257 rentable townhomes, a large clubhouse/pool, and 41,600 square feet for commercial/retail along Route 29. Future phases will consist of additional commercial, retail, recreation, and/or office use.
Phase 1 started construction in summer of 2023 and the first units were rented in 2024. The community of rentable townhomes includes luxury 1-, 2-, 3-, & 4-bedroom units with high-end comforting features and a two-story, 17,000 square foot clubhouse with signature amenities and a 3,000 square foot swimming pool. Continuing to work closely with the developers and contractors throughout construction, Timmons Group has assisted with numerous design changes to help keep the overall project on track and to set up for successful future phases of the development.
