
Greensboro, NC – March 2, 2026 – Timmons Group is pleased to welcome Ryan Boone, PLS, to the firm’s growing Survey practice in North Carolina. Joining Timmons Group’s Greensboro office as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, Boone’s addition strengthens the firm’s local capabilities and reinforces our continued investment in the Triad region. This strategic hire provides our North Carolina survey team with greater flexibility to pursue new opportunities as they arise and enhance collaboration across the firm’s multidisciplinary teams.
With more than two decades of experience, Boone brings extensive expertise in the delivery of complex survey services for both public and private sector clients across North Carolina. His experience includes route and NCDOT surveys, ALTA surveys, boundary, location, and topographic surveys, GIS data collection, utility and SUE mapping, remote sensing, and the preparation of plats and exhibits. Boone is experienced in managing survey projects from initial scoping and proposal development through final delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and technical accuracy.
Prior to joining Timmons Group, Boone held leadership roles with several surveying and engineering firms in North Carolina and previously served with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, administering location and survey contracts, overseeing and coordinating the statewide location and survey program, and leading GIS-based asset management programs.
