Richmond, VA – September 29, 2025 – Timmons Group, a leading engineering and technology firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Asimos as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this newly created executive role, Tim will serve as the strategic architect of the firm’s brand and lead its growth strategy—strengthening market presence, enhancing client experience, and aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives across all markets.
As CMO, Asimos will lead the firm’s communications, business development, and pursuits teams. He will play a key role in advancing Timmons Group’s growth strategy by shaping brand positioning, driving client experience and thought leadership initiatives, and overseeing pursuits, marketing communications, and digital transformation to strengthen the firm’s visibility and client impact.

Asimos returns to Timmons Group with nearly 20 years of A/E/C industry experience, including 13 years as a trusted advisor and consultant to leading firms nationwide. With deep expertise in strategic marketing, demand generation, and client experience, he has helped organizations strengthen market position and accelerate growth.
Most recently, Asimos served as Head of Growth at Client Savvy, a ClearlyRated company, where he worked with A/E/C firms to develop client experience strategies while leading sales, marketing, and communications. Previously, he was a Partner at circle S studio, where for more than a decade he helped firms build impactful marketing strategies, develop content marketing programs, and launch growth-focused digital platforms.
Earlier in his career, Asimos began in advertising and media before joining Timmons Group, where he served in a marketing management role from 2006 to 2012. His unique blend of in-house, agency, and consulting experience gives him a rare perspective that bridges traditional A/E/C marketing with innovative, technology-driven approaches—an asset he now brings to Timmons Group’s continued growth.
In addition to his professional experience, Asimos is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), a sought-after speaker at conferences nationwide, and a regular contributor to industry podcasts, publications, and webinars. He also co-authored the recently released SMPS Foundation research study Client Experience in the AEC Industry: Benchmarks, Insights, and Trends and is a past president of the American Marketing Association’s Richmond, Virginia, chapter. He earned both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Liberty University.
