Taylor Farm Park Is Awarded National Award for Innovative Design

Timmons Group is thrilled to share that Taylor Farm Park has been honored with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Award for Innovation in Park Design!

This prestigious accolade recognizes Henrico County’s commitment to excellence in design, innovation, and community impact. Henrico Recreation & Parks Director John Zannino and Supervisor Tyrone Nelson highlight this accomplishment in a short interview released by Henrico County.

Timmons Group and Rhodeside Harwell collaborated on the design and planning of the park, upholding a lofty vision set forth through thorough civic and stakeholder engagement.

After a year in operation, the park has seen nearly 1 million visitors and is known for its extensive play value while also preserving 80 acres of the 99-acre regional park.
