Join us for a sneak peek inside the @LewisGinter expansion! This two-year transformation is enhancing one of the region’s premier cultural and environmental destinations 🌿🌺🌵🦋

As the project engineer, Timmons Group provided land development, stormwater design, survey, and environmental services.

“One of the biggest design challenges was revitalizing Wick Lake to serve multiple purposes,” said Urban Development group leader Amelia Wehunt. “The design integrates the Lake with the irrigation pond to create a system that’s both functional and part of the guest experience.”

It was an honor to play a role in this major development alongside @3NorthDesign and @HouriganGroup. Congratulations to our partners at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden!
When he's not managing projects across the Southeast, Tom Cannarella mentors students at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, helping prepare the next generation of civil engineers.

"This semester, I worked with a team of six students in the Civil Engineering Senior Design course at @UofSC, guiding them through real-world design decisions. It's been a great opportunity to share practical experience and help them understand how projects come together beyond the classroom."

The program is a required senior-level course that connects theory with practice, giving students the opportunity to tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
