Timmons Group delivered full civil engineering services for Garnet Place Apartments, a new 72-unit affordable housing development in Shallotte, NC. The project team transformed a previously undeveloped site into a functional and walkable residential community with modern infrastructure and resilient design.
From grading, utility layout, and erosion control to water system modeling and permitting, our engineers helped bring one-, two-, and three-bedroom units to households to the area, addressing the growing demand for affordable housing in Brunswick County.

These courts are kind of a big dill. 🏓
We helped bring 12 brand-new courts to life at Pouncey Tract Park in Glen Allen, Virginia. The courts feature asphalt surfacing with acrylic coating, LED sports lighting, expanded parking, improved park access, and a shaded pedestrian promenade. The championship-style courts were designed to include extra runout space, bleachers, and year-round shade structures—perfect for tournaments or just pretending you’re playing in one.

Timmons Group’s urban land development team recently joined Liberation Veteran Services (LVS) for an Open House showcasing Veterans Village, a new supportive housing community that will replace LVS`s current facility.
The project will include 50 private micro-apartments, giving veterans their own bedroom and bathroom, along with a community building featuring shared amenities to help residents regain stability and independence.
Since its founding, LVS has supported over 770 veterans, helped more than 200 gain full-time employment, and provided mental health services to 265+ individuals. We’re proud to support this transformative project alongside LVS, @HouriganGroup, @BaskervillDesign, @StructrAdvisors, and @DunbarStruct.
