Overview

Timmons Group has assisted James City County with the development of a stormwater engineering plan and supporting compensatory mitigation plan for the Ironbound Road Regional Stormwater BMP Project in a heavily urbanized portion of the College Creek Watershed. Identified as a much needed stormwater project for the watershed, the Regional BMP Project is proposed as a solution to support stormwater quality improvements as well as provide discharge quantity control in a watershed containing established residential and proposed new development. The Regional BMP will work in conjunction with existing sediment forebay infrastructure to further the water quality support for the community. To support the Ironbound Road Regional Stormwater BMP Project and compensate for the direct stream impacts required for the project, Timmons Group designed, constructed, and is currently monitoring the Warhill Offsite Stream and Wetland Mitigation Site.
