Ally Kennedy graduated from the @UNCChapelHill in 2015 and a year later began her career at Timmons Group. In 2022, Ally became one of the first 25 individuals in the United States to earn an @Esrigram Utility Network Specialty certification. Now a Principal at the firm, her dedication and passion for Utility Network drove her from a senior project manager on our geospatial utilities team to group leader.

Shawn Smith, a principal and project manager on our Richmond residential land development team, began his career in the industry almost 30 years ago. His primary focus in residential land development offers the opportunity to work alongside organizations such as Better Housing Coalition on community-centric projects like The Planet Apartments, a new, high-quality affordable housing apartment community located in Richmond’s historic Jackson Ward neighborhood.

“An affordable and safe place to call home is essential to our well-being and a right that should be afforded to everyone. We couldn’t have been more honored to be a partner with @bhc_rva on such a transformative project. And to have it happen in historic Jackson Ward is icing on the cake,” said Shawn.
