Overview

Timmons Group has been contracted to provide a variety of professional surveying services to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) under 3 separate contracts. These services include:

  • General surveying services to include topography, aerial mapping, terrestrial laser scanning, boundary and right of way surveys, easement and taking plats
  • Rail surveying services in the WMATA roadway including track alignment surveys, track grade surveys, vehicle clearance surveys; track maintenance surveys
  • Yard and Facility Inventory surveying, toinclude boundary surveying, aerial topographic mapping and inventory of above ground visible improvements
  • Platform maintenance and clearance surveying as part of the platform rehabilitation project
