Timmons Group’s Adopt-A-Stream Event Celebrates its 7th Year

For the seventh year in a row, Timmons Group employees and their families gathered to remove trash and debris from the stream and woodland area adjacent to our Corporate Headquarters. Timmons Group began participating in the Virginia Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Adopt-A-Stream Program in 2013 and has since removed over 220 bags of trash from our local waterways.

Timmons Group Environmental Scientist Ben Sagara leads the event and educates attendees on the importance of conservation and proper field safety.

For many families, the cleanup has turned into an annual tradition and an opportunity to teach their children the importance of keeping their local community and environment clean.

As always, attendees are rewarded for their hard work with snacks and beverages.
