Timmons Group provided civil engineering and site selection services for the development of the City of Raleigh’s new Law Enforcement Training Center off of Battle Bridge Road.
The 60,000-sf training facility’s design encompasses the amenities required to meet current police training needs and allows for cadets entering the academy to complete their training on-site within the same facility.
The training facility houses multiple classrooms and computer labs for officer training courses. Both this facility and Wake County’s law enforcement training center are connected through a courtyard connection that will help provide collaboration between the two facilities.
