Public infrastructure improvements were required adjacent to and/or within the limits of The Estates at Hickory, which consists of approximately 616 attached and detached homes, a central clubhouse, multiple retention ponds, and various other amenities.

Timmons Group provided survey, stormwater management design, master stormwater study, utility location, and construction plans for ROW improvements for this residential area in Chesapeake.

This project also included traffic engineering services for upgrading the existing traffic signal located at the Hillcrest Parkway and Edinburgh Parkway intersection in Chesapeake, VA.

Per the Estates of Hickory PUD Development Criteria, Edinburgh Parkway will be widened to a four-lane divided roadway south of Hillcrest Parkway.
