Tim Davey, PE
Director of Business Development and Marketing
Tim Davey leads Timmons Group’s business development and marketing efforts. Tim manages high-profile projects and specializes in Community Revitalization, Urban Redevelopment and Economic Development. Tim also manages projects involving complex site selection, creative financing and grant consulting, and commercial/industrial site development. His background and experience in private development, water/wastewater, environmental and stormwater allows him to effectively facilitate multidisciplinary teams and projects.
Tim is a member of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving as a Chairman Circle Member. He is on the Board and Executive Committee of Venture Richmond, is a past Chairman of the Urban Land Institute of Richmond and serves on the Board of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE). Tim is a 2006 graduate of LEAD Virginia and a 2003 Graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond, where he received its 2004 Servant Leader Award.
Tim lives in Bon Air, in an 1882 Victorian listed on Virginia’s Register for Historic Places, with his wife, Lisa, and their four children, Michael, twin girls Rachel and Ragen, and Cristofer. One of Tim’s goals is to play as many of Golf Digest’s “100 Best Courses in the United States” as possible. He enjoys traveling domestically and internationally with his family.

- If you weren’t an engineer, you would be? Most likely an Architect since that was the path I was heading towards before college
- Favorite vacation destination? South America is my favorite destination and the Galapagos Islands has been my favorite Adventure to date
- First job? I delivered newspapers 7 mornings a week for the Democrat and Chronicle
