Sam Saunders manages Timmons Group’s Charlottesville, Virginia, office. He has more than 33 years of experience providing consulting engineering for a broad range of projects including public schools, higher education, healthcare, urban, commercial, industrial and office site plans, utilities, subdivision, road, earthen dam and stormwater management projects. Due to his range of project experience, Sam is often requested to represent projects for his clients at public hearings and meetings.
Sam takes a special interest in projects located in the Shenandoah Valley. He led the site design for the new Joint Use Intelligence Facility for the Defense Intelligence Agency located near Charlottesville. He takes pride in working with public schools and higher education facilities.
Sam lives in Charlottesville with his wife, Mary. He enjoys running, hiking and photography.
