Paul Trapp
Director of Infrastructure Services
Paul Trapp leads Timmons Group’s Infrastructure Services Division. In his 23-year tenure with the firm, he has applied his experience in transportation planning, engineering, permitting and construction on a wide variety of infrastructure projects for State and Local governments, as well as industrial and private sector clients. Paul’s expertise includes Roadway Design, Corridor Studies and Traffic Impact Analyses. Before joining Timmons Group, Paul worked for the New York State Department of Transportation.
Paul lives in Midlothian with his wife, Jill; three sons, Ryan, Chris and Kyle; and a daughter, Katerina, whom they adopted from Russia in 1998. Paul is a member of St. Edward’s Church and is involved in many youth sports and school-related activities.

- Favorite quote? “A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”
- Favorite book? I’m currently reading A Feast for Crows, the fourth book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. I watched Game of Thrones on TV, got hooked, and have not been able to put down the books this summer.
- Favorite restaurant? P. F. Chang’s - love the chicken letture wraps and kung pao shrimp
- Favorite sports team? Boston Red Sox - I was born in Boston and have loved the Sox since I heard about the “Impossible Dream” season on the radio when I was 6 years old
- A favorite project you’ve worked on? A current project is the I-295/Meadowville interchange. It’s nice to see a project we have been working on for 15 years finally come to fruition.
