Mark Farnsworth

Director of Information Technology

Mark Farnsworth leads the firm’s Information Technology department and is responsible for Timmons Group’s daily IT operations, as well as setting the strategic direction that enables the firm to meet the needs of its clients. His more than 20 years of experience in IT, coupled with his diverse background, provides Mark with a unique perspective on the design and maintenance of Timmons Group’s technology infrastructure. He has served on the Board and the Executive Committee for RichTech, and is actively involved in RichTech’s CIO Forum and the Cisco Advisory Board for the Chesterfield Technical Center.

Mark lives in Hanover County and is passionate about spending quality time with his wife and children. He enjoys participating in watersports, boating, camping, and hiking with his family.  Mark considers himself a true “do-it-yourselfer” and enjoys working around the house on projects, especially those in which his twin boys can lend a hand.
