Junie West, PE
Director of Private Land Development
Junie West leads Timmons Group’s Private Land Development Division and is responsible for all aspects of commercial, residential and industrial land development projects. His roles and responsibilities as Principal-in-Charge of the development team range from implementing effective foresight at project inception to “hands-on” involvement of every aspect of the design through project completion.
With more than 30 years of experience, Junie’s consulting capabilities relate to all phases of land development, including master planning of infrastructure and project layouts, as well as the design of sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, fire protection systems, road design, stormwater management solutions, storm sewer systems, traffic circulation patterns and feasibility studies. His knowledge of his clients’ businesses is a distinct competitive advantage for Timmons Group, and Junie’s responsiveness is unparalleled.
Junie resides in Hanover County with his wife, Connie, and two daughters, Shelbie and Kellie. He enjoys spending time with his family at the lake and attending Virginia Tech football games. Junie has a passion for cooking and competes at national events on a competition BBQ team, which recently finished 15th of 63 teams in the State of Virginia Championship.
