Derrick Johnson, PE

Derrick Johnson manages Timmons Group’s Tri-Cities office located in Prince George, Virginia, and specializes in Industrial Land Development projects. Derrick has more than 24 years of experience and manages all aspects of design for site plans, infrastructure development and master planning, as well as feasibility studies for private clients. His projects include industrial projects; residential projects, including single-family, multi-family and townhouse projects; and commercial projects, including restaurants, hotels, convenience stores, churches and office centers. Derrick has extensive experience working with several projects on the Fort Lee Military Installation.
Derrick is a Prince George County native, where he still lives with his wife, Jackie, and their two children, Megan and Blair. He is the Director of the Hopewell-Prince George Chamber of Commerce, and serves on numerous civic boards and organizations in the Tri-Cities region. An avid sportsman,
Derrick enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including masters track and field events, and attending his children’s cross-country track and swimming events.
