Project Summary
Tanger Outlet Center features 550,000 square feet of building area including a mix of uses such as retail, restaurants, hotels and a theater. The site is located along I-85/I-40 corridor in the City of Mebane, in the Triad Region of North Carolina. The centerpiece of the 52-acre project includes a 330,000 square foot outlet retail complex, which is has become a trademark of the Tanger Outlets brand, providing a contemporary, high-end, pedestrian-friendly outdoor shopping experience for its customers.
Timmons Group’s Raleigh office was engaged by Tanger Outlets to assist in site planning, landscape architecture, land surveying, due diligence efforts and to complete the necessary design documents and project management services to carry the project through the development approval process.
Timmons Group teamed with Adams + Associates Architecture of Mooresville for Architecture services, NC, John Davenport Engineering of Winston-Salem, NC for transportation services, The Vernon Law Firm of Burlington, NC for legal services, and ECS Carolinas, LLP of Greensboro, NC for geotechnical and environmental services in serving Tanger Outlets in its development efforts.
