Project Summary
SportsQuest is a premier sports and family entertainment campus that will be located on a 250-acre campus located in Chesterfield County, Virginia, at the intersection of Route 288 and Powhite Parkway. SportsQuest is being designed to serve a variety of purposes, including recreational enjoyment, youth development and high performance training in 20 Olympic amateur sports.
Timmons Group has been a key project team member in this endeavor, partnering with SportsQuest to provide full service engineering, landscape architecture, environmental and survey services. SportsQuest just recently unveiled the complex’s east campus design, which opened this past September and was designed by Timmons Group. This complex will include 17 multi-purpose fields, playgrounds, an event structure, amphitheater and a central area that will be called Festival Park.
The West Campus of SportsQuest is a premier sports and family entertainment campus that will be located on a 250-acre campus located in Chesterfield County, Virginia, at the intersection of Route 288 and Powhite Parkway.
The West Campus will feature artificial turf athletic fields, multiple grass athletic fields, a running trail, a sports stadium, a velodrome, a pool complex, an indoor sports arena, a fitness center, a family entertainment center, offices and retail stores, among many other amenities. It will also serve as the home for the Indoor Football League’s Richmond Revolution and will host Arena Racing Richmond™ events as part of the complex’s partnership with Arena Racing USA®.
