Magnolia Green

Project Summary

Timmons Group is the principal design and development team for Magnolia Green, Richmond’s largest master-planned community.  When complete, Magnolia Green will create nearly 5,000 homes and over one million square feet of commercial and office space. Bringing forth a development like Magnolia Green takes coordination of the highest degree, but more than that it requires people, the right people, to complete the myriad of interrelated tasks on time.

Off-site utilities, transportation, master planning, town center design, rezoning issues, soil and geotechnical analyses are all coordinated through a design team that is made up of generalist and specialist designers.  Timmons Group’s team of in-house experts enables the project to move forward quickly and efficiently.

Project Highlights

When completed Magnolia Green will surpass Brandermill as the largest community in the Richmond metro area.  Located along Hull Street Road (Route 360) in Chesterfield County, Magnolia Green is a 3,900 acre master-planned community zoned for 4,900 residential units and 1.2 million square feet of commercial, retail and office space. The project also encompasses an activity center, open space and golf course, school and park areas, an 11 acre lake (which will also serve as a regional stormwater management, best management practice facility) and a major parkway interchange.
