Magnolia Green

Project Summary

Timmons Group is the principal design consultant for Magnolia Green, Richmond’s largest master-planned community. When complete, Magnolia Green will create nearly 3,550 homes and over half a million square feet of commercial and office space.

Bringing forth a development like Magnolia Green takes coordination of the highest degree, but more than that it requires the right people to complete the myriad of interrelated tasks on time. Off-site utilities, transportation, master planning, on-site infrastructure and subdivision design, surveying, environmental permits, and rezoning are all coordinated through the experienced design team. Timmons Group’s team of in-house experts enables the project to move forward quickly and efficiently.

The 1,900 acre development also encompasses an activity center, open space, and 18-hole golf course, school, and park areas. Phase one of the project includes these amenities, while phase two includes the Welcome Center and traffic signal on Hull Street.

Timmons Group is working with developer, iStar Financial, Inc. for the completion of this project. iStar Financial, Inc., headquartered in New York, has completed $35 billion of commercial real estate investments in the past two decades. The company has worked throughout the United States on a wide range of property types such as land, industrial, entertainment, mixed use, retail, and office.
