Overview
Timmons Group provided civil engineering and landscape architecture for the Holly Springs Town Hall Commons located in heart of downtown at 242 S. Main Street. Winner of the 2018 Great Main Street In the Making by the NC American Planning Association. This unique project was the Town of Holly Springs first public private partnership developed in conjunction with the Trustwell Property Group.
The development is approximately 43,000 SF and includes commercial, retail, restaurant spaces, public parking, a fountain, and center plaza. Timmons Group worked closelywith the owner and the Town of Holly Springs to provide a functional design that would promote pedestrian flow through the flex retail space and office building. Pavers and concrete bands were utilized as the walking surface near the store fronts that is unique to the site and also adhered to and complimented the Town’s standards for sidewalk in the area. The Town Hall Commons will be home to approximately 20 new businesses to thearea.
