Timmons Group was contracted by Gilbane Development Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and provided surveying services related to development of the VCU Student Housing Project, in Richmond, Virginia. The property at 8½ Canal Street encompasses approximately 1.04 acres of a combination of undeveloped property and a gravel surfaced parking lot.
Timmons Group’s Survey sector performed ALTA/ACSM and land boundary surveys of the property siutated east of Adam Street, west of Foushee Street, north of Canal Street and south of a public alley within the City. A topographic survey extending to the far side of the adjacent streets and alley way was also performed.
Underground utilities were plotted from City of Richmond utility sheets and storm and sanitary sewer systems were survey located and plotted.
In addition to the boundary survey, Timmons Group also provided construction staking for the property which is currently under construction.
