Principal, Site Development
Stig Owens is the Principal for the Site Development sector
at Timmons Group. With more than 20 years of expertise, Owens is
highly experienced in all phases of civil engineering and design. Such
experience includes project management, site planning and layout, erosion
and sediment control design, grading, drainage and stormwater management
design, engineering of water and wastewater conveyance systems, sewage
pumping stations and wastewater screening facilities and construction
administration and inspection services. Owens has specific experience
in the design of correctional facilities, incorporating physical security
and security engineering principles into site development projects
for numerous government clients using governmental force protection/anti-terrorism
directives and regulations as well as project specific criteria. Stig
is also certified as a LEED® Accredited Professional.
Owens was graduated from Virginia Tech in 1988 where he received his
BS in Civil Engineering. He has gained professional engineering
licensure in states across the Mid-Atlantic to Virginia, North Carolina,
West Virginia, Delaware, New Hampshire and Washington, DC. Owens
is also very passionate about sustainable design and is a LEED® Accredited
Professional. |
