Director of Finance
Edward Darr joined Timmons Group in July 2006 as Director of Finance, and is responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the firm. He began his professional career on the audit staff of the accounting firm Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), and has held financial management roles in the architectural design, real estate development, and consulting industries. Prior to joining Timmons Group, Darr was a regional controller for Mercer HR Consulting in Atlanta, where he had financial management and accounting responsibility for a $250M business unit.
Darr attended the University of Notre Dame and received a BBA in Finance in 1987. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and is a member of the AICPA.
Ed resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Susan and their two boys John and Michael. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, and traveling with his family.
