Principal, Stormwater Planning & Urban Redevelopment

Andrew Gould , Principal for the Stormwater Planning and Urban Redevelopment practices at Timmons Group, is responsible for all aspects of stormwater planning and urban redevelopment projects. With more than 15 years of experience, Gould specializes in municipal stormwater operations. He has experience in watershed modeling, NPDES requirements, stream restoration and wetland mitigation designs. He is also experienced in the design of storm sewers and stormwater management facilities, including BMPs for stormwater pollution prevention.

Gould also specializes in rehabilitation projects involving road, drainage and utilities. Most of his experience is in urban settings with extensive underground utilities and extensive property and business owner coordination. He has been involved in all aspects of these projects including initial design development, public meetings, easement and right-of-way acquisition coordination, and construction management and administration.

Gould graduated from Notre Dame in 1992 where he received a BS in Civil Engineering and later went on to earn an MS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1998. Gould became a licensed professional engineer within the state of Virginia in 1997. He is involved in various professional and civic organizations including the American Public Works Association, the Virginia Floodplain Management Association, the Virginia Lakes & Watershed Association and the North American Lake Management Society.
