Ashburn, VA – January 8, 2018 – Timmons Group is pleased to announce that Luke Fetcho, PE, DPE, LEED AP is now certified as a Loudoun County Designated Plans Examiner (DPE). Fetcho has over 13 years of experience in designing and leading design teams for land development projects ranging from emergency services, K-12, higher education, parks and recreation, department of corrections, and department of transportation. He also works closely with review agencies during design development to ensure all federal, state, and local codes are met during the design review period and oversees projects through to approval.

To become a DPE in Loudoun County, applicants must meet minimum qualifications that include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, completion of the Board of Supervisors’ Specified Program, a minimum of two years of experience in the field, attendance in 30 specified continuing education courses, and the consistent preparation and submission of plans which meet all applicable ordinances and regulations in Loudoun County. Subsequently, designees must attend yearly professional development courses to maintain their credentials. DPEs in Loudoun County can also review and approve new site plans.
