The December Commercial Coffee Richmond was at 2323 East Main and was sponsored by Macfarlane Partners and Property Results. Charles Macfarlane and Sam McDonald gave a short presentation on the history and future of the buildings!
The two existing buildings will be converted into three and four floors of office space connected by an elevated glass walkway and atrium. The buildings were originally used for manufacturing tobacco and later as a hat factory. There was a tour of the buildings too – it was a great way to see the extent of the property – especially from the bridge that already spans the courtyard area between the two buildings. This will be a wonderful property to visit again after the building conversion and landscaping and hardscaping of the courtyard. Hope you can join us then!
