Richmond, Virginia – Timmons Group, a leading civil engineering and landscape architecture firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is pleased to announce that Blake Hall, LA, has passed the Virginia Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE). Hall’s achievement improves the firm’s competitive edge, by further growing its own internal team of licensed landscape architects.

Hall came to work for Timmons Group immediately after graduating from Virginia Tech, where he received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. Hall is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the James River Green Building Council and the US Green Building Council. He is also very active in supporting and participating in humanitarian efforts that help fight Cystic Fibrosis and support the Red Cross.

Hall currently provides landscape architectural services for Timmons Group’s Site Development sector. His experience includes site design, environmental design and all facets of landscape architectural services. Hall is also a LEED™ Accredited Professional and is experienced in sustainable design.

Hall enjoys working in Site Development’s Education Division at Timmons Group, as education through design has always been a passion of his. Hall says, “I am especially proud to have worked on the Hanover (Virginia) Elementary School project. This was the first project I worked on from the ground up. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2007, I am really excited to see the project come together.”
