Richmond, VA – Timmons Group announces the completion of its relocation to a new corporate headquarters facility in the greater Richmond area. On Thursday, June 9, the firm hosts an open house at its new home for clients, community leaders, public officials and interested others. Media representatives may attend.

The company’s new headquarters occupies the majority of Class A office space in the Boulders One building, located within The Boulders, a mixed-use corporate office and residential complex in northern Chesterfield County, near the Richmond city limit.

"Timmons Group has made a substantial investment to establish a new corporate home that accelerates the firm’s cultural and operational evolution while accommodating its plans for continued rapid growth," said Dave Lucado, the firm’s president and CEO.

Chesterfield County Administrator, Lane B. Ramsey said, “When it came time for Timmons Group to seek a new headquarters from the Courthouse Road location it had outgrown, we were thrilled that its leadership remained committed to Chesterfield County. More and more companies from around the region and the globe recognize the unmatched quality of life and best-in-class corporate facilities that Chesterfield has to offer its employees and their families.”

Sufficient room also exists at The Boulders for the company to continue to grow its professional services team over the coming years, with plans to expand by more than 200 personnel within the next four years.

"We are pleased with the quality of the workforce coming to Chesterfield County and the region, and are confident we will be successful in our recruiting efforts as we bring this new headquarters up to full staffing," Lucado said.

The space provides Timmons Group with 43,000 square feet, dispersed over three levels, to house its environmental, infrastructure, residential, site development, landscape architecture, environmental services and surveying practices alongside its corporate executive and administrative functions. Timmons Group maintains its existing metro Richmond offices in downtown Richmond, which houses its technology services sector, in Tri-Cities near Petersburg as well as its testing facility on Southlake Boulevard in Chesterfield County. The company has regional offices in Loudoun County, Charlottesville, Hampton Roads, State College, Pennsylvania, and Greensboro, North Carolina.

With over 50 years of service in the greater Richmond area and surrounding region, Timmons Group in many ways is a new company with renewed focus and energy for the future. This week’s open house will showcase the commitment Timmons Group has made to build on its legacy as community leaders and good corporate citizens in the markets where it does business.
