Timmons Group Hires Tim Ingold as Survey Manager and GIS Consultant in its Greensboro Office

Richmond, VA – May 21, 2009 – Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in multi-disciplined civil engineering consulting services, announced today that Timothy R. (Tim) Ingold, PLS, CFS, has joined the firm as Survey Manager and GIS Consultant in the Greensboro office.

“I’m excited to have such an accomplished professional join our firm,” says John Webb, LS, Managing Principal of the firm’s Land Surveying division. “Tim’s extensive surveying experience, as well as his experience in GIS & Geospatial consulting are huge assets for our North Carolina operations.”

Tim was previously employed by Anderson & Associates, Inc. where he was Vice President and Survey and GIS Project Manager. He has more than 31 years of experience in land surveying. His experience includes supervision of boundary surveys of small lots and large acreage tracts, control surveys for universities and countywide mapping projects, topographic surveys, and construction staking surveys for roadways and commercial and residential developments.

In addition, Tim has been involved in with the management and web application design for interactive GIS websites since 1999 for many local government agencies.

Tim has been a Professional Licensed Surveyor in North Carolina since 1985 and is a North Carolina Certified Floodplain Surveyor. He is a member of the North Carolina Property Mappers Association, the NC Construction Professionals Network, the Carolinas URISA and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
