Timmons Group to Provide Consulting Services for The Breeden Company Projects in Isle of Wight and York, Virginia

Richmond, VA – May 1, 2008 – Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in civil engineering consulting services, announced today that the firm has recently been awarded two new contracts with The Breeden Company, Inc. for projects in Isle of Wight and York County, Virginia. These two projects mark the first opportunity to work with Breeden in their Hampton Roads market. The Breeden Company, founded in 1961 and headquartered in Virginia Beach, is a leading developer in the residential, multi-family, commercial and resort markets.

While both projects are still of a confidential nature, the anticipation is that both projects will soon transition into public zoning cases and complete site design services. Both of the projects awarded are currently in the due diligence and pre-design stage. “We are certainly excited to continue our work with The Breeden Company and to have the opportunity to service their needs in the Hampton Roads area,” said Roger Rodriguez, PE, LEED® AP, Senior Project Manager with Timmons Group’s Commercial Services team. “It’s a pleasure to be associated with a developer that holds themselves to such a high standard of quality for all their developments.”

The Towne Center West project was recently a finalist for the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE) Project of the Year award for Best Commercial or Retail design. Towne Center West is an example of Breeden’s commitment to developing a first class community.
