Timmons Group Selected by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to Provide Geospatial Consulting Services

Richmond, VA – January 21, 2008 – Timmons Group, a leader in geospatial and engineering consulting services, was selected by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Forestry, to design the applications necessary to create, manage and report on forestry guideline-monitoring data and associated spatial content.  Monitoring implementation of the forest management guidelines is a statutory responsibility of the DNR and the results are important to the DNR, the State’s Logger Education Program, county land departments, forestry industry, private forest landowners, and numerous federal, state, and local regulatory programs.
