Timmons Group Congratulates its Newest Professional Engineer and Recently Promoted Geospatial Solutions Manager

Richmond, VA – July 6, 2006 - Timmons Group, a leading civil engineering and landscape architecture firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is pleased to announce that Nathan Mathis has recently passed the Commonwealth of Virginia’s rigorous Professional Engineering examination and is now a registered civil engineer.

Mr. Mathis, a Project Engineer with the Transportation sector, joined Timmons Group seven years ago after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Additionally, Chris Gerecke has been promoted to Geospatial Solutions Manager within the company’s Technology sector. With Timmons Group for almost six years, Gerecke earned his Master’s degree in Environmental Science from VCU and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wake Forest. In his new role, Gerecke will be responsible for the daily operational management of the development staff as well as defining client’s functional requirements and project scoping.
