A clear understanding of environmental issues and regulatory compliance

budget and schedule. The environmental services team at Timmons Group
stays current with regulatory policy and pending changes in order
to provide our clients with the best possible service and the highest

Our environmental professionals are widely recognized for their expertise
in natural resource and due diligence services. Our services include
wetlands delineation, stream assessment and restoration, compensatory
mitigation, plans for low impact development, pollution control, and
Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments.
Our certified environmental professionals work with both public and
private sector clients for residential, industrial, commercial, public
safety and educational projects in both undeveloped (greenfield) and
redevelopment (brownfield) areas.
Our staff is skilled in the preparation of environmental assessments
in accordance with various protocols including ASTM E, US Department
of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, as
well as many other programs for specific insurance companies and financial
institutions.

Patriot Centre at Beaver Creek
Henry County, VA
Timmons Group completed wetlands delineation, permitting, construction
administration and compliance monitoring for a seven acre wetlands
restoration/creation area and 5,000 linear feet of riparian restoration
associated with development of a 760 acre industrial park development.

Hampton Roads Executive Airport
Chesapeake, VA
Timmons Group coordinated and conducted
wetlands delineation and US Army Corps of Engineers jurisdictional
determination. Assistance to engineers in preparing
the master plan for airport expansion and renovation was also provided. Timmons
Group also completed site characterization for petroleum release at airport fueling
station and coordinated with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality
for site assessment and reimbursement through the Virginia Petroleum Storage
Tank Fund. |

Totopotomoy Wastewater Treatment Plant
Hanover County, VA
Provided wetlands delineation
and regulatory permitting services for the wastewater treatment
facility, outfall force main, discharge outfall structure and other
associated gravity and force main sewer projects. This project
involved extensive regulatory coordination and review.

Old Trail Village
Crozet, VA
Timmons Group provided planning and permitting
services to facilitate development of the golf course, residential
and road projects in a manner which was environmentally sensitive
and met the County and Agency requirements. Mitigation for storm
impacts was achieved through restoration of 450 feet of Slabtown Branch degraded
by cattle and agricultural practices. Timmons Group performed the design,
approval and construction oversight of the restoration. |

Old Hickory and Concord Mine, Iluka Resources
Dinwiddie and Sussex Counties , VA
ILUKA contracted with Timmons Group to provide comprehensive wetlands evaluation, delineation and permitting services as well as complimentary engineering services related to stormwater management and Virginia Pollution Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) permitting.
Timmons Group’s support of ILUKA Resources has enabled ILUKA to continue extensive mining operations throughout the proposed mining areas in compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulatory permitting requirements. |
