Group Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
Timmons Group offers medical coverage through Anthem. Dental coverage is available through Aetna. Timmons Group pays a large portion of the premium for both plans. Employees are eligible for coverage the first of the month after their start date.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Generous Company Match
Employees are eligible to participate in this plan from date of hire. Employees may allocate a portion of their salary up to the limit set annually by the IRS into various investment options offered through SunTrust Bank. Timmons Group matches 50% of the employee’s contribution up to 10% of their total compensation at the end of each year. Employee must be employed at the end of calendar year to receive the firm’s match.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
Timmons Group provides paid time off for personal leave, to help provide work/life balance. Timmons Group awards Paid Time Off on January 1st based on the following:

Paid Time Off for the first partial year of employment will be prorated based on the employee’s start date and awarded on that start date. Employees must have reached their year of service mark prior to January 1st to move to the next level.

Life Insurance
Timmons Group provides life insurance through The Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company to include two (2) times annual salary to a maximum of $300,000. Additional insurance may be purchased through The Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company Voluntary Life program. Employees are eligible for this benefit first of the month after 30 days of employment.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
Timmons Group provides short-term and long-term disability plans for eligible employees through The Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company. Employees are eligible for this benefit first of the month after 30 days of employment.
Flexible Spending Program for Medical and Dependent Care
Timmons Group offers Flexible Spending Accounts for both medical and dependent care expense. FSAs are an employer-sponsored plan that allows employees to deduct money from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis to cover non-reimbursable medical expense and dependent care expenses as provided by current tax legislation. Employees must enroll first 30 days of employment or during the annual open enrollment every November.
Tuition Assistance
Timmons Group offers a tuition reimbursement program for employees who wish to continue, or further their education, in a curriculum directly related to their employment.
